Getting Married at Camden Town Hall, London
There’s something I absolutely love about a London town hall wedding, and Camden Town Hall is no exception.
Sitting opposite the magnificent St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and just a stone’s throw from King’s Cross, Camden Town Hall is a fabulous place to get married. Beautiful architecture, elegant interiors and those wonderful steps outside, perfect for a shower of confetti and a few celebratory photographs.
What I particularly love about Camden is the contrast. One minute you’re inside this rather grand building making promises to each other, and the next you’re outside amongst the buses, black cabs and the wonderful chaos that is London. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As a documentary wedding photographer, it’s those unscripted moments that make me happy. The nervous smiles before the ceremony, the proud parents, the unexpected tears and the laughter when someone says something they probably shouldn’t!
Of course, we’ll have a few family photographs too. They’re an important part of your family history, and I promise not to turn it into a military operation.
Whether you’re planning a small, intimate ceremony, a second marriage or a bigger celebration, Camden Town Hall is a wonderful choice. And with so many fabulous places nearby for a glass of champagne or a celebratory meal, you’re rather spoilt for choice.
If you’re getting married at Camden Town Hall and want natural, relaxed photographs that tell the story of your day without endless posing, I’d love to hear from you.
You make the memories. I’ll make sure you can look back on them for years to come.
